Apple Orchard

So on a crisp Fall day we decided it was time to go to the apple orchard. As you can see we already had our prime time for the leaves changing color and the majority have fallen to the ground. The first photo is outside our front door.

We visited an orchard called Emma Krumbee's. We have passed it numerous occasions as it is right off 169 south, but have never stopped to get any apples or pies or yummy treats. Now that we have a kid, I guess we will make point of stopping at these kinds of places more often! Cameron and Emalyn became scarecrows and mommy fed the goats/miniature horses/donkeys.

Then we went on a tractor ride. Along the ride there was a stop to get pumpkins-but we just went along for the ride. You can actually pick strawberries at this orchard too-behind the tractor there are rows and rows of strawberries...maybe next year!

Lastly, we were able to enjoy a kid's train ride. I was holding Emalyn and Cameron took the shot. She looks like she loved it doesn't she!??! HA!

All throughout the orchard, were scarecrows. There was some kind of competition....and actually, I am not even sure who won....but I liked these two the best. All the veggies on the stand are fake except for the gourds. That's why I thought this one was worthy of a photo. Hard work to make it look realistic!

HAPPY AUTUMN!!
