7 Months!!

Can you tell the growth? I am definitely a lot bigger, but interestingly enough, when I am next to other pregnant women, I barely look 4-5 months! Is it a blessing? We'll see!

Safety First....

Made some other purchases this weekend.....the Chicco Key Fit 30 in "Extreme." We also bought another car seat base for Cameron's car for ease of getting the baby in and out-especially in the winter. This carrier is supposed to fit a child up to 32 inches and 30 lbs-let's hope if she really is a little girl that she doesn't hit that weight within the first year-that's a big baby!!

I wanted to avoid hauling a mammoth of a stroller around since it seems EVERYONE else must. You know the ones I'm talking about, they have the cup holders....and baby tray....and toy bar.....and the list keeps going! I just need to get from point a, to point b and these two items are what will do it! I haven't yet gotten the above stroller frame, that is to come-and only if Cameron and I really decide it is a necessity (it's about $50-not bad). Our Maclaren will be able to be used as early as 3 months so if we can make it that long we should be good.

Just thought I'd show you all the fun purchases we get to spend our money on! Next to come is the crib-but since we already know which one we want to get....here it is! We also are getting it in this Antique Walnut color (more oak-y in color). It is VERY sturdy and we are deciding to go without a drop-down side (that also means it will turn into a day bed and full size bed eventually). If she starts crawling out of the crib-short side will be turned against the wall (I have actually thought about that one!!)!

Good News

Thought I'd share a photo of the beautiful stroller we received as a gift (I really do love it). Instead of it being charcoal and lemon-limey color, it is charcoal and a soft sage green. Very neutral, but very pretty....again, beautiful in my eyes. (Seriously.)
I had my 6 month checkup and found that the low lying placenta is VERY marginal and it will most likely not be the cause for a scheduled c-section. Yeah! Granted, choosing to be happy between labor and a c-section, I may not be so happy come May, but at least for this first baby, I want to see how delivery goes! Talk to me in June when it's all over and we'll see what I have to say then....I don't know if I mentioned this before, but they do indeed think (about 90 prercent) we will have a girl.

Cameron and I are still sorting through "stuff" in the house and getting rid of a lot of it-which actually is very, very good. I will be posting some before and after nursery photos when we get the crib put together and rest of the room painted.

We can hardly count the (many, many) days in front of us until we get to see the baby!!
