Yum, Yeah....

So posting wasn't just light.....it was nonexistent!

I'm getting back on the blogging horse..but we're not going to be full tilt for awhile! :)

You better believe I will be back posting a bunch to catch everyone up on what we have been up to.

More TX

The last afternoon in TX, we went to the neighborhood pool.

There was a splash area for kids, however it was new and they hadn't made the floor correctly, you know to prevent slipping....Emalyn fell three time and although she recovered quite well, and quickly, but by then, we were over it.

Eighty degrees never felt so nice...

And now we're back. *sigh*

Oh, how I needed to get away.

And the warmth in Texas really was like another world.

We've had snow covering the ground for about 4 months straight. in the 8 years I've lived here, it has never stayed snowy for this long.

Let's just say, I'm over it. And so is everyone else around here. We'd like to see some grass, please?

That was my first comment looking out the window on the airplane, "Oh, you can see the ground!" That's plain sad!

So, without much narration,below are photos from the trip.

The single highlight had to be the San Antonio Zoo. Emalyn loves her am-me-moes (animals), for sure.

Preschool Style

On the Market

Posting around here may end up being lighter than usual as our house is going to be listed on the market as of Friday, 3/11.

We just need a little more room now having two kiddos.

So, instead of boring you with all the details on organizing, cleaning, organizing and cleaning some more....oh, and moving more than half of our stuff to storage....I thought I would just let you know my brain and time have been consumed with that.

However, Liam's 8 month letter will be posted shortly!

And I may post the photos of the interior of our place since my aunties and uncles and cousins haven't ever seen it before...take care!

LJW-8Months

My little boy is 8 months! Yikes!

We have already talked about how you are almost crawling...you're a little worm! Everything and anything you can see you want to touch it. If it is too far, of course you couldn't be bothered, but if it is within a couple wormy wiggles, you will make the effort and it is in your hands and ultimately drooled upon.

I had to start working full time again for a short while here. Someone quit at my office and so I have to step up my workload so that I can keep up. It hasn't been pretty for me, but your Oma and Auntie B have been coming to watch you and Emmy on Thursdays and I can tell you both LOVE. IT. I really like that you both get to spend extra time with them.

Those teeth are really pushing in. Your gums are fat and swollen. I swear I can see white once and awhile on the bottom-I think it pops through then the swelling makes it disappear. Poor miserable thing. And the saliva...everything is wet. All the time! Ay!

And as much pain as you are in, you are still a happy boy...a sweet boy that can tolerate so much. Emalyn is such a strong-willed little thing that we had to implement a routine almost immediately. Although we keep a routine for you, going outside of it isn't as...horrible...dare I say? We will have the ultimate test next month when we go to TX to visit Mimi and Papa. AKA, your first airplane ride! Woot, woot!!
