Aren't we cute? Cameron and I have a friend at church that is starting her own photography business and she asked to take some maternity photos. Here are just a few....

Cameron's Work Shower

Cameron's office had a shower for the baby...isn't that sweet! Here we are in front of the cake-which was delicious, by the way!!

You have to admit, these have got to be the BEST shoes ever!! Of course we all know I have a weakness for shoes, let alone little adorable ones....thanks again Lt Col Best!!

Last but not least, a fun photo of Cameron enjoying himself opening gifts! Everyone was so generous and thoughtful! Can't believe she is almost here!

Kristine's Office Baby Shower

Cameron was able to join me for a Baby shower given by my office. Here we are in the conference room after eating a delicious catered Olive Garden meal. We received many, many wonderful items including adorable clothes, a collectable china baby cup and bowl, baby soap/lotion, baby book, toys, burp cloths, receiving blankets and BIBS!! Can you believe we didn't have any bibs until now!

This is a photo of Justina, Me and Aubrey (left to right). These are the wonderful kind ladies that went to the hassle of planning, organizing and throwing the whole thing for Cameron and me. Thanks ladies!

If you can believe it, my belly and baby have grown 1 full inch in just 2 weeks!! I can't believe that there are only about 5 weeks left!!

Baby Shower!!

I had so much fun experiencing the first baby shower for Cameron, me and the baby last Thursday. The ladies from my Bible study came together and combined a baby shower, with a bridal shower of another gal-Rhonda. By the way, have you EVER seen someone make a ribbon so pretty? I thought this was so neat!

Meet Rhonda. And her risque dish towels. So cute.

The ladies were all VERY thoughtful and so generous with their time, energy, and thoughtful gifts-the food was delicious too! Following are some more fun photos of the shower and ladies. The baby is going to be STYLIN', that's for sure!!! THANK YOU LADIES!!

37" waist!

Made it to 8 months and as the heading states, with a 37 inch waist...celebrated the growth (I guess) with a haircut. needed a little change. Definitely a cut I have had before, but always loved it so I decided to reinstate the low-mainenance do. Not to mention, I have been told I now moved to a "mommy" do! Perfect timing, I guess!

7 Months!!

Can you tell the growth? I am definitely a lot bigger, but interestingly enough, when I am next to other pregnant women, I barely look 4-5 months! Is it a blessing? We'll see!

Safety First....

Made some other purchases this weekend.....the Chicco Key Fit 30 in "Extreme." We also bought another car seat base for Cameron's car for ease of getting the baby in and out-especially in the winter. This carrier is supposed to fit a child up to 32 inches and 30 lbs-let's hope if she really is a little girl that she doesn't hit that weight within the first year-that's a big baby!!

I wanted to avoid hauling a mammoth of a stroller around since it seems EVERYONE else must. You know the ones I'm talking about, they have the cup holders....and baby tray....and toy bar.....and the list keeps going! I just need to get from point a, to point b and these two items are what will do it! I haven't yet gotten the above stroller frame, that is to come-and only if Cameron and I really decide it is a necessity (it's about $50-not bad). Our Maclaren will be able to be used as early as 3 months so if we can make it that long we should be good.

Just thought I'd show you all the fun purchases we get to spend our money on! Next to come is the crib-but since we already know which one we want to get....here it is! We also are getting it in this Antique Walnut color (more oak-y in color). It is VERY sturdy and we are deciding to go without a drop-down side (that also means it will turn into a day bed and full size bed eventually). If she starts crawling out of the crib-short side will be turned against the wall (I have actually thought about that one!!)!

Good News

Thought I'd share a photo of the beautiful stroller we received as a gift (I really do love it). Instead of it being charcoal and lemon-limey color, it is charcoal and a soft sage green. Very neutral, but very pretty....again, beautiful in my eyes. (Seriously.)
I had my 6 month checkup and found that the low lying placenta is VERY marginal and it will most likely not be the cause for a scheduled c-section. Yeah! Granted, choosing to be happy between labor and a c-section, I may not be so happy come May, but at least for this first baby, I want to see how delivery goes! Talk to me in June when it's all over and we'll see what I have to say then....I don't know if I mentioned this before, but they do indeed think (about 90 prercent) we will have a girl.

Cameron and I are still sorting through "stuff" in the house and getting rid of a lot of it-which actually is very, very good. I will be posting some before and after nursery photos when we get the crib put together and rest of the room painted.

We can hardly count the (many, many) days in front of us until we get to see the baby!!

Even Bigger!

Not the greatest photo (I look tired, but actually wasn't...), but had to get 6 months posted for all to see the growth! We are getting even more excited as the time for the baby to arrive is getting closer and closer. We still have to finish the baby room (little more painting to do and getting the crib put together and in there). The closet in the baby's room has also been emptied and is getting put back together with the organizational shelves and the bins I think we may need....kind of hard to know what you need where when you haven't had a child before! Luckily, the shelving can be moved easily, so things may change again after the arrival.

Can't wait to see how big I am next time.....!
